Plastic container instead of Styrofoam

To meet current trends resulting from the constantly growing pro-ecological awareness, at the beginning of the year the BPLAST offer is expanded with a new model of insulated container. 20 liter container and based on a standard 600x400mm transport and storage box. The containers and the lid inside are insulated with polyurethane foam, which effectively helps maintain the temperature and isolate the product from external conditions. Smooth walls make it easier to maintain hygiene throughout the supply chain.
- We received an inquiry from a group of fishermen from a large European port. The constantly evolving EU law and corporate management strategy, according to which companies voluntarily take into account social interests in their activities, especially environmental aspects, have forced them to look for an alternative to non-ecological Styrofoam packaging, which is still widely used in the fish processing sector. The client had a problem with disposal, its costs and everything related to it. We have taken up this challenge and in February the first containers will reach the fishing group for final tests - said Marek Budrewicz from BPLAST.

As the people responsible for this project in the company emphasize, the new insulated boxes have been designed to work not only in such sophisticated places as fishing or processing plants, but also in retail chains for the distribution of fresh and frozen products and catering.
